独りぼっちは... ...さびしいもんな... いいよ。一緒にいてやるよ
It's lonely to be alone... It's alright, I'll stay with you

(forgot to mention before but this is Sakura Kyouko from Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

Warning! Spoilers ahead!

Kyouko's sacrificing her life to be together with Sayaka has been really touching to me, and so I decided to portray her final moments.

I first drew and CG'd Kyouko ([link]). For the background, I decided on a grungy abstract background in the beginning. To symbolize being in an about-to-end witch's realm. The darkness closing in on her as she's making her final wish. The shards sprinkling as her soul gem's fractured. A lotus flower under her to symbolize her journey into the next world (as a lotus grows in muddy waters and rises above the water to bloom in beauty). And last but not least, Kyouko's final words: "独りぼっちは... ...さびしいもんな... いいよ。一緒にいてやるよ" (It's lonely to be alone... It's alright, I'll stay with you).

andThis is a beautiful piece of art. I am not sure what anime it is from though. The mix of different textures in the backgroung looks amazing. I also really like those colored triangles. The girl looks super cute and I love how the ruffles in her dress look. The transparent petals look gorgeous, I especially like how the egdes are darker than the rest of the petal. I love the girl's facial expression. She looks so sweet. This is overall an incredible and beautiful piece. There is only 1 thing I really think I could do without - those japanese words. Barely anyone will be able to read them, and I find them useless and unneeded, but besides that, this is just breathtaking.

Oh I am sorry the rating thing would not work so I couldn't give it over 3 stars but it deserves 5 stars in every category

Kyouko is also my favourite character :).

And, this moment was so like... MY FEELINGS :'(

Aww same here. Kyouko's my favorite character and I wanted to portray her final moments because of that.

Thank you! I sketched the character by hand and colored her with Paint Tool Sai, and used Photoshop for the background.

The anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I hope the description didn't spoil the anime for you :(
